Itinerary

Day 1Arrival and Transfer to Sipi Falls

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by your tour guide/driver who will be with you throughout the safari.
The journey from Entebbe to Sipi Falls takes approximately 4-5 hours by road. You will travel in a comfortable vehicle, and your guide will provide interesting commentary about the areas you pass through.
Along the way, you will have the chance to see the beautiful Ugandan countryside, including traditional villages, farmlands, and scenic landscapes.
After reaching Sipi Falls, you will check into your lodge. There are several accommodation options available near the falls, ranging from budget to luxury lodges.

Day 2 Sipi Falls Exploration and Hiking

After breakfast at your lodge, you will meet your guide for a guided hike to explore the three main waterfalls of Sipi Falls.
The hike usually starts from the main waterfall, which is the largest and most famous among the three. It plunges down a 100-meter cliff, creating a stunning spectacle.
From there, you will continue to the second waterfall, which is a bit smaller but equally impressive. Finally, you will reach the third waterfall, which is a bit more challenging to reach but offers breathtaking views.
During the hike, your guide will provide information about the falls, the local flora and fauna, and the cultural significance of Sipi Falls to the indigenous communities.
You will have opportunities to swim in the natural pools formed by the waterfalls, so it’s recommended to bring appropriate swimwear if you wish to take a refreshing dip.
The hike typically takes a few hours, and the level of difficulty can be adjusted based on your fitness level and preferences.
After returning to your lodge in the afternoon, you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Some lodges offer additional activities such as birdwatching or village visits, which you can explore if interested.

Day 3Coffee Tour and Departure

On the final day of your safari, you will have the chance to learn about Uganda’s famous coffee production.
After breakfast, your guide will take you to a local coffee plantation, where you will witness the process of coffee farming, harvesting, and processing.
You will have the opportunity to engage with the local farmers, learn about their techniques, and even try your hand at coffee picking or processing (depending on the season).
The tour will also include a coffee tasting session, where you can savor the flavors of freshly brewed Ugandan coffee.
After the coffee tour, you will check out from your lodge and begin the journey back to Entebbe.
The drive from Sipi Falls to Entebbe takes approximately 4-5 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.
Your guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport in time for your departure flight.
